MY RIOLU IS STUPID

I dont get it, I have been playing, petting, feeding, and battling with my Riolu, but she still wont be a Lucario Even at level 44!

I'm getting so angry with this game, what the fuck am I missing.

Pokemon-Amie affection =/ Normal Happiness. Hence why Espeon and Umbreon are different from Sylveon.

You just gotta use it in battles and keep it healthy and shit.

You can also increase happiness by walking around. Every 256 steps increases happiness. The Soothe Bell cuts this in half I think.

Assuming it hasn't changed from BW2, it would only be -1.

Base happiness is 70 for most pokemon. And the value needed for leveling up is 220, at least for Riolu. Happiness maxes at 250.

If you have a soothe bell, any time you would gain happiness is increased by 50%. Capturing a pokemon in a Luxury Ball doubles any happiness modifiers as well.
