It introduced 153 new Pokemon and I'd be assed to name 10 bad designs in the entirety of that.

Sure, a lot of Pokemon were useless like Liepard or Accelegor, but pretty much everything was either cute as a first form, evolved into something great, or was good on its own.

The only things that actually get any sort of valid criticism are Vanilluxe and Garbodor, and that's 2 out of 153, because Trubbish was great and so was Vanillite.

This is exactly what I think too. 3 and 5 both sucked and 4 was lackluster.
1 & 2 were amazing. 2 did what a good sequel does and improved in every way.
6 is really good. I love being able to use old favourites instead of new faggots.

3 is the only one where i played through multiple times

Why the fuck do people want MORE Pokemon? We have more than enough already (is it not close to 800 or some shit). I'd rather they balance and tweak movesets to make more pokemon viable.

6 is stellar, really the most fun I have ever had with a pokemon game since generation 3. Everything is just superb.

Generation 3 has by far my favorite region in terms of music, characters, design, terrain, environments. My second generation after 2 and my first gen completed.

Generation 2 was really good, not a fan of the graphics in the games other than crystal in comparison to the other games but the game itself and the postgame content especially is phenominal

Generation 5 was great in terms of pokemon design and introduced a ton of new things. I liked the sound effects especially. Never finished this gen.

Generation 1 had a ton of problems and aged poorly, but it still started everything and has the magic you would expect from it. The original. Generation 3 remakes were awesome.

Generation 4 was really slow in pace, but was still great. I liked a lot of the pokemon designs and there was a ton of legendaries to catch, but the elite four was forgettable in comparison to generation 1 and 3 and so were most pokemon designs.

Also the scene with AZ and Flabebe made my tear up and the part of the credits with the piano and words hit me hard when I found the meaning behind it.

People cite Garbador as an example of bad design in Gen 5 but he's not even that bad, and even then he's on the extreme end of the scale. The vast majority of Gen 5 mons are really cool like Galvantula, Druddigon, Scrafty, Scolipede and Stoutland.

6 is still new, but so far I feel is my favorite. The routes are huge, with great pokemon selection of old and new. The graphical improvements are astounding and there are so many worthwhile features to enjoy. It really feels like Gamefreak is trying to elevate Pokemon to the status of other rpgs, rather than this weird limbo of mediocrity Pokemon has been in since it spent so long on the DS.

Honestly, what's killing Gen VI for me is that Pikachu has its cry revoked. Just... fucking pandering.
