There are no runners in X/Y. The bird doesn't count because when you can actually catch it, the Masterball is unnecessary.

I caught my cover legendary in a great ball and the dragon/Mewtwo/kanto bird in timer balls.

They're not traditional roamers. You can't do anything when you find one, they run away instantly. You're supposed to encounter them in the wild until they go to the ACTUAL spot you can catch them. When you find them there, they aren't runners anymore.

So no, there are no roamers in X/Y making the Masterball pretty worthless unless you're just lazy and want a free catch for something.

I remember, back in gen 3 sapphire; Kyogre broke my masterball...

Nobody believes but I swear to fucking god, a few days later, I was checking my bag for the masterball which I clearly remember getting. It wasnt in my bag. I checked every possible pokemon, none of them having it. It suddenly hit me that I sent out my masterball but kyogre broke it, and I barely realised it until then.

Mewtwo. His recover was so annoying. Also the fact that it had Pressure and when I did manage to get down to catchable HP he would always breakfree and run out of moves faster than usual and recoil himself to death with struggle so I was like fuck it masterball it after my 8th attempt
