The professor says that mega evolution can only happen in Kalos.
What if mega evolution doesn't come back in Gen 7?
I mean, it's completely possible since the forms are only temporary, and it might get a little tedious for them to hide so many mega stones in every game from now on.

I'm thinking they'll just make an all-encompassing "Mega Stone" for the next gen and beyond.

After all the work they put into making those shitty Digimon, I doubt this is the last we'll see of them.

Mega Evolution is the best thing they've added this gen so it sure as fuck better stay in. Building your team is more interesting when you need to decide which mon gets the mega evolution, it's like choosing which Ubers level mon you want in your OU team. Even though it's kind of limited at the moment if they keep adding more and more then things will get really interesting. And hopefully they use it to breath life into some eternal NU shitmons (Mega Beedrill please for the love of god)

They'll probably give us unique ones through mystery gifts and add more in Pokemon Z

Whenever they've added gimmicks in the past, they usually never take them away. I really doubt we'll lose megas (especially since that's one of the good thigns going for this generation so far).
