So I was thinking about Mega Gardevoir's usefulness in battle when it struck me: Are there even any Normal-Type moves that would benefit from Pixilate? I honestly can't think of any way to abuse the ability, besides maybe some Skill Swap shenanigans. But yeah, any ideas?

Hyper Beam or Tri-Attack i guess.
Most of the damaging moves seem to be physical.

As of Gen V, at least, the only moves Gardevoir has that can benefit from Pixilate are Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam and Round.

So unless they really mixed up Gardevoir's movelist for Gen VI, it's a pretty worthless ability.

Refrigerate is similarly useless. I don't know what gamefreak was thinking giving these abilities to special attackers.

This. You really can only toss on hyper beam for that 150 BP STAB.

Admittedly, this is Fairy 150 STAB, so it hurts like a fucking TRUCK, but god damn that cooldown means your mega's toast on switch
