I have raised my Helioptile to level 71. It has not learned a move since level 45.

At this point I am pretty much convinced the Earth Power rumor was bullshit.

Should I keep going Y/N?

Electrify. Changes the opponent's move to Electric type if you hit first. Pretty much worthless since Heliolisk doesn't have Volt Absorb.

I haven't had anything since Thunderbolt and Electrify, but I'm sort of confused about whether to evolve or not. Thunderbolt seems like sort of a weak "final" move. No Thunder? No Normal move better than Razor Wind?

You can buy the Thunder TM in Anistar City if you want it. Hyper Beam too if you want a powerful special normal move.

Yeah I'm a little disappointed I wasted all that time as a Helioptile, but I'm almost at the E4 and I just want my Heliolisk already, so fuck it.
