In theory and design Aegislash seems crazy but we won't know how effective he is until we actually play him out, most experienced players would see he's a bulky tank that may not have access to decent recovery and be quickly turned down by that alone. His typing is a good combination for switch ins and his defenses are high enough so coupled with his typing so it might not be Dusknoir 2.0. It might not have lasting power without recovery but it can be a momentum maker by wiping out couple of the opponent's mons or just outright sweeping them if you can take out their key mons that could have killed Aegislash.
