Take this scenario:
Male - Hidden Ability - No item
Female - Normal Ability - Everstone

Will I ever hatch a baby with the Hidden ability?

I think so, some have said that Males now pass down abilities.
No idea about the chances of it happening.
Everstone only forces the Nature to be passed down right?

If males really pass down, it doesn't matter.
Otherwise you'd want a female with the hidden ability.
The international 'mon gender doesn't matter.

I got a male Torchic that was bred and had Speed Boost from WT. Pretty sure the free Torchic was male only, so if that's the case DWFs are no longer required.

But does everstone prevent the ability passing?

I hatched 20 Helioptile earlier with the mother with an everstone. It hatched with the mothers ability every time. I switched mothers and the first one had dry skin.
