Professor Sycamore told me to meet him in Couriway Town but I can't find the way. I get to a cave that winds up blocked by some guy saying I need to beat the Champion. Halp?

Yep I was stuck in the same place op. go down the stairs from Reversal hous and just keep going down and left (not near to karate guy walking around.
