I'm currently soft resetting on the event Torchic for a decent breeding base with which to breed a future mega Blaziken with, however I want the offspring to have speed boost AND all be in cherish balls so I can mass distribute unique babby spares when i'm done. I haven't bred since gen 4 and i'm unsure if its possible to pass down speed boost if I wait till late game and use a ditto as the parent. Will ditto allow the cherish ball to pass? and, is the event Torchic 100% male? because after like 50 resets i'm yet to see a single female one.
