I know it's not. But I've never bred shinies before. Curious if someone made it yet. Heard stories of people getting shinies on the 4th egg. And multiple stories of around 40-60.

put a single poke in each box, log out of the box system, log back in and there will be more. keep doing this until you have all 30 slots.

If it's like previous games, he'll be a step forward more than before.

He'll also tell you if your pokemon are compatible.

So long as it doesn't say "They prefer to play with other pokemon", then you're fine.

tried proper breeding for my first time ever (been playing since gen 1) was breeding for natures. got a shiny charmander in 20 goes. i was stoked but it wasnt the right nature . i DID tip 1000 to all photos ive had if that helps

it's random.

With the masuda in theory you should get 1 every 1,300 eggs.
However statistically I always get it around 700-100 eggs.

Never had a shiny take more then 2,500 eggs.

Aw. What's the fastest method for hatching? I have a talonflame and I keep riding down this road on the daycare, back and forth.

Hanging out/talking with friends on mumble.
Watching something,
in between Dota matches.,
and in moderation. I can't do like 800 eggs in one sitting but I'll randomly do a few boxes and then do something else.

It also helps if you have goal. I'm trying to get a shiny froakie, at the same time I'm breeding for perfect IV protean froakie.
(I might hold it off because I'm curious what he can learn via breeding.)

Just hatched a shiny Budew with Masuda. Was the third egg too and I wasn't even trying for one so I guess it's still working.

I found a shiny Luvdisc two days ago as well. I might just be lucky but I assumed people finding shiny pokemon was down to more people playing more often but maybe they did up the rate?

masuda methos just lower a 1/65000 to 1/32000 except you have to lose more time doing the whole egg thing instead of generating pokes in the wild. It's only good point is to chose the poke specy, that's about it. If you wants shiny just get something with sweet scent and spam wild areas for horde battles.
