Well. I guess they realized how shitty berry farming was and how it was made even shittier by Gen 5.

36 land plots all in a collected area, AND berries have higher payouts now? Good.

This farm seriously is paying out dividends.

This is after 2 days of berry farming, starting out with maybe 6 Oran berries and then planting 18 of what I got from that yield.

I think I'm going to start experimenting with the Surprise Much.

Still, it's definitely better. Oran Berries originally gave 2-5. And this is without even using Mulch.

Haven't gotten my hands on anything past Iapapa on the "Berrydex" though.

Serebii only has 3 listed:

Oran+Pecha = Qualot
Iapapa+Mago = Pomeg
Leppa+Aspear = Hondew

You have to plant these two next to each other and there's a chance the yield will have those berries mixed in (Notice the different berries in the bushes). Surprise mulch increases teh chance of this.

So it's in your best interest to NEVER plant the same two berries adjacent to each other.

Berry farming looks like it could be interesting to do this Gen. As opposed to the painfully slow Gen 3 methods.

As far as I can tell, you get a fairy generous yield now, which is increased moreso if you constantly check on them every once in a while to pull weeds and beat up pokemon hiding in the bushes.

Haven't tried multi-day berries yet but I only need to water one-day berries once unless I use mulch that sucks up the moisture.
