You clearly don't know how voice acting works. Voice acting is mostly done by contracting different groups that have connections to unions, and those unions are, like the Screen Actor's Guild, really oppressive about who can work where. Why do you think so many anime dubs are based around New York, Texas, and LA?
When TCPI were just starting doing the show themselves, they ran into this. They couldn't just hire back the 4Kids voice actors, it had these issues to deal with. Any 4Kids actors they were able to bring in had the freedom to work in two different locations and for multiple groups, and those that have returned over the years like Giovanni's VA have done so because of changing locations or because of 4Kids' recent corporate implosion.
Second of all, the claims of soundalikes were NEVER made by someone representing TCPI. That was from a 4Kids actor who leaked the information that they were no longer working on the show and was bitter about it.
Need a source on them hiring people off the street, also. And CONTEXT. Voice directors often bring in people they're familiar with to work on it, so please clarify if this is a case of some asshole giving a friend of theirs without any acting experience a favor or if it's, yannow, what I just described.
