ITT: We talk about our favorite new Pokemon.

I'm really enjoying protean Greninja. Type switching is fun, especially since you have to be careful not to walk into a Super effective attack while you do it.

Pretty much everyone feels this way, but Aegislash is totally awesome.

Nearly invincible if used right, but if you fuck up he's a goner pretty easily.

Yeah.

I got my first one from a guy who bred a Protean Frogadier he got there, and I've bred a few with the intention of continuing to pass it forward (when I can play, of course)

I'm really liking Vivillon. It's probably not great competitively, but near-perfect accuracy Sleep Poweder, Hurricane and Quiver Dance wrecks everything in-game. Trying to collect them all is fun too, my favourite is Sun from Mexico.

Well, statwise isn't it about the same?

Quiver dance is a huge boon, it's one hell of a boosting move. It's the reason volcarona is relevant despite the 4x stealth rock weakness.

At first I thought his final evolution was as bad as the other two until I realized that his scarf was his tongue.

Butterfree has shit HP, shit attack, shit defense, 80 special attack, 80 special defense and 70 speed, I think.

From estimates, people say Vivillon has 80 HP, 100 special attack and speed, and about 50 on everything else. It's a slightly less-defensive orientation, but let's face it, a butterfly was never going to be defensive anyway.
