And then he had 110 attack.
He is basically the strongest overall pokemon in generation 1-3 all together. Because those gens were MUCH more defensive, and snorlax was one of the more defensive pokemon out there, as well as having great attack.
Generation 4, because of the physical/special split, as well as choice specs/scarf/life orb, got a LOT more offensive, and snorlax couldn't keep up anymore.
