General questions that don't deserve their own thread.

I have three questions:

1. Can you do multi-battles in battle mansion with friends via wi-fi?

2. Someone mentioned that everyone gets perfect IV's when playing multiplayer via wi-fi. Has this been proven yet?

3. Can you use megas and legendaries in random wi-fi battles?

What's the deal with Super Training?

I have done the Minigame exactly twice. Both times, it was Level 1 Attack for my Absol. All of the rest of the EV training I've done with punching bags, which I understand.

What I don't get is this 'level 1' thing. If I clear all of the level 1 regimens, do I unlock level 2 regimens?

Should I just grab a junk pokemon and use him to unlock all of the level 2 and 3 regimens? I don't want to have to put Defense, Sp. D, or Sp. Attack EVs on my Absol just to unlock better regimens.

Or should I stick to the one that gives me a +4 EV yield and a bag?

How does the exp share affect exp point distribution? Does everyone get the same amount? Will having it active reduce the exp the pokemon you acctually use receive?

Where do I catch Hawlucha and Skrelp? I have Y if that makes a difference.

The only one of these I can answer is Noivern. And all I can say is, mine is level 64 and hasn't even ATTEMPTED to learn a dragon type attack.

Training unlocked by having a Pokemon maxed in EVs.

Gives prizes instead of EVs so you can keep training forever. People keep suggesting it as an easier way to get a much earlier Dusk Stone for Honedge.

Oh, I see.

Now, I gotta say. I'm stuck at level 2 because I'm using a Drifloon I don't want to try and get level 3 unlocked. This is fuckin' hard.

What affects how many points each shot is worth? That's all I need to work on. Is it Attack? Should I get my Snorlax out (another pokemon I'm not using) in order to finish up level 2 training?

Special attackers rapid fire and physical attackers shoot one ball at a time, but have more damage on it

Hold down to charge, as a special attacker, you rapid fire up to 10 balls that do 3x damage each, as a physical attacker, I think you have one ball that does 5x damage or something like that

I've only been Super Training with my Skrelp and Floette, but I'm trying various things with my Aerodactyl now and that's how it seems to be

Never forget to use your charge shots. You can beat everything at lower levels with them.
Also don't forget your shield. It recovers quickly, so don't be afraid to just toss it out there.

It's slightly more about skill than stats, but stats do help a lot.

The exp share works like this.

Your lead pokemon's EXP is unchanged, but every other one on your team gets half of what he got. So say your Fennekin got 1000 exp, your caterpie and honedge would both get 500.

Also, pokemon received in trades still get boosted exp from the exp share, as do pokemon holding a lucky egg.

Be careful using the exp share, though. If you leave it on the whole game, by gym 6 your team is severely overleveled. I recommend just turning it on when you notice the game is starting to outlevel you, then turn it off as needed.

Well, that's typically a preference thing. But I find the game very boring when I one shot every pokemon in front of me and blow through every battle with zero difficulty.

My Charizard likes Pink ones more so yes, they're also color coated by flavor as well, Pink is Sweet, Orange is Spicy etc etc you can google pokemon tastes.
Getting their hearts up to 5 gives you a supreme chance of getting critical hits, though it doesn't work in wifi battles.

For in-game or competitive? It's good for competitive. Skiddo learns Seed Bomb before evolving and Gogoat learns Horn Leech in the 40s. On top of that Return, Bulldoze and Aerial Ace by TM should do you fine.

This. My friends showed up fine when I first started the game, but when I switched to my second 3DS to let the first load for a bit it wouldn't load the friends list at all. Now it's the same on both systems; it says it's updating the friends list, but no friends are appearing in the game's list, even as they're telling me over skype that they're connected.

Aegislash does not learn it through leveling. It learns it from the move relearner. Its also better to have it know sacred sword so you can relearn it later should you want it. It also stops it being walled by steel/dark types.

Its all up to you, mine has Shadow Claw, Iron Head, Kings Shield and Sacred Sword.

Remember that stances don't affect EV's. If you pump it full of Defense/HP Ev's those will remain, meaning it can be fairly tanky even in Attack Stance.

EV training isn't all that hard. If you want a pokemon that focuses on Special Attack you just do the Special Attack ballon fight over and over again, with each successful training giving you +4 EVs to that stat.

You can also use the punching bags. For special attack they're called Sp. Attack S/M/L. with S giving you +1, M giving you +4, and L giving you +12 to that specific EV.

A pokemon can only have like 252 EVs in a specific stat. So kind of count how many times you're doing the training.

Pretty basic answer. Smogon has better info on EV training.

I'll give a brief outline;

The punching bag can be tapped repeatedly to give you EV raising/resetting punchbags. The bottom right button lets you use them to raise EV's. Tapping the punchbag like crazy once you've used one will eventually give you 1, 4 or 12 EV's in the different stats. Example would be a Sp. Atk Bag L giving 12 Sp. Atk EV's.

In super training (the bottom left button), you play a short mini game. If you do it in time, you get 4, 8 or 12 EV's in a stat. You use the thumbstick to move the pokemon, and tap the bottom screen to shoot. Shoot the nets enough to pop the balloon and win. Getting hit by enemy fire increases the time you'll have to take to win.

If you do all the LV 1 training thing, you get LV 2 ones, and then LV 3. If you try, you'll find its a lot easier than you think.

Super training a Clauncher. Any recommendations for EV spread. I was thinking 252 SpAtk and splitting the defenses, but is there a better recommendation?
