There are Nidoran horde battles. They have a chance to have their hidden ability.

Also, males can pass their hidden abilities through breeding now.

I'm just scraping by even with max affection. I used a Nidoking in Yellow version when I was a kid, so I'm just bringing him back for nostalgia's sake.

Or since Nidoran has Hustle as a special ability, look for the one that doing much more damage than the others, or is missing a lot.

But can you actually capture all the pokemon in hordes? I remember not being able to capture in double battles (if one is alive) let alone against 5 pokemon at once

I've been training a Nidoran/Nidorino too, because it's my favourite evolutionary line. When do you find the Earthquake TM? Also, is it worth teaching Nidoking Thunderbolt/Icebeam/Flamethrower without Sheer Force?
