64 hours in, just got 4th badge. Spent extra time in all routes making sure I have caught everything obtainable in each area.

Also spend a day and a half getting all Vivillon Patters.

Feels good. After elite 4 it's onto shiny chaining and masamuda method.

I got about 25 hours in and barely beat the 3rd gym.
I've been taking my time catching and leveling mons and enjoying the game, I've also been breeding and trading a bit.

Went with my friend to a 24-hour Wal-Mart to pick up the game at midnight as soon as they started selling it. As of now he's blown through it and beat the E4 & stuff, meanwhile I only have 2 badges. I'm having a lot of fun taking it slow and building a team of bros with good natures/abilities and sperging out making sure I get every item, fight every trainer, catch all the rarer mons in every area, super training all my guys EVs, etc. If anything I feel like I'm getting my money's worth out of the game and I'll be enjoying new content for a longer time than everyone who rushed through it

Just reached the town with the Name Rater

I got caught up searching for a male Litleo with a decent nature to the point I farmed and begged for Ralts on /vp/

Also maxed out Super Training and affection in Pokemon Amie

I already have a Greninja and Pyroar, is this normal?

I've been breeding so much i have Froakies, Bulbasaurs, Charmanders, Fennekins and a shitload of random pokemon you dont get till endgame because i just cant stop breeding.

I may carry on the game once i hatch a Protean Froakie or maybe i'll breed some Larvitars.

Dammit, I was hoping it would keep this rate throughout the whole game, maybe speeding up at the seventh and eighth gyms

I was liking how it took forever to get anywhere and get any badges, since it actually felt like I was traveling a country
