I don't know about you guys but I feel pretty shitty when I use a mega on my team. Regardless of the Pokémon or their type, all megas make an already laughably easy game even easier. I tried out mega Blaziken on Ralos and felt so low afterward. Anyone else not like using megas?

It doesn't matter.

EV training was arguably a shorter process before but it's a ton more accessible this time around.

They didn't improve the AI this gen and there is a retarded amount of good Pokes available to get pre-e4, not to mention 2 starters right off the bat.

Like you said, without megas, the game is already piss easy. With them, it's still easy but it's a nice little bonus. There can be some strategy involved competitively with them. Whatever.

I think most everyone would agree some of them should of been straight evolutions though. Shame we probably won't see probably ANY more existing pokemon get additional evolutions now if they decide to keep the mega thing.

Single stage Pokemon got megas. So did two-stagers. So did 3-stagers.

Maybe some pre-evos, but I can totally see Gamefreak embracing the mega-evo concept some more and forgoing additional evolutions altogether.

I havent even used one outside of the obligatory tutorial, but I got megacham and megawile's stones tonight so I'll take them for a spin

Megacham is a fucking monster. Can take any hit and will effortlessly one shot things that it's technically weak against. Too bad it got shit on in the looks department by mega Alakazam.

I think the Megas are a pretty cool add to the game, but I don't really use them much. The only Mega I have is Blaziken and I barely ever use him, I only use its Mega when some poke I'm fighting uses Roar or something and Blaze ends up showing up because fuck them for using Roar

I don't mind using them, but I only really do it in a pinch or against another mega. Hell, I had Sylveon with a bunch of Calm Mind boosts ready to destroy Mega Gardevoir, but I switched in Lucario anyways.

My Delphox was faster than a mega Blaziken and oneshotted it. A Ninjask resisted my +2 Petal Dance from MegaSaur THREE times and threeshotted me with Aerial Ace. Every Mega Lucario is ass.
