About ten years too late, I believe I've come up with a reliable way to convert gen II Pokémon data to modern Pokémon data. If you have super old bros on super old save files, you can now have super old bros on super new save files. The only two downsides are that your stat exp (EVs, they're called now) will be reset to 0 due to the complete overhaul in that system, and complete purists will have to deal with the nature issue. It's retardedly simple, but before I get farther into it, is there any known way to calculate a Pokémon's DVs from gen I or II?

>>14675493 Okay. It was oddly simplistic, so I figured I probably wasn't the first to come up with it, but I couldn't help but notice the lack of publicity it has. Is there any particular reason it hasn't gained much momentum in the community, aside from the Stat Exp/EV difference?
