Let's play a game, vp. Hopefully you'll think and respect the thought went in to each design more.
Choose a pokemon.
Answer each of these questions;
>What is it? eg. dinosaur, fox, cat
>What is it's role? eg. early-bird, event-legend
>What is notable about it's design? eg. Use of anatomy, use of line, use of shape
>Constructive Criticisms
So I'll start, Keldeo.
It's a horse based on the three musketeers.
It is part of a legendary set.
It focus is use of lines, colour is also notable.
I've always loved Ken Sugimoros use of linework, he considers avoiding tangents, and thinks about negative space. I don't think the colour scheming is effective, the red and blue don't match. Furthermore nothing evokes, 3 muskateers.
