I got a question though, I just rendezvous'd Team Flare in the Power Plant, yet I can't still access the northern part of Luminous City when I flied there, what do I do? Map shows a second route leading there but I can't find it -__-

I was using Blaziken as my Fire-Type for almost the whole game, ended up hatching a shiny Growlithe, decided to switch them up since Blaziken pretty much made the game WAY too easy.

Now I'm just working on balancing out the levels and I'll be able to move on to the last gym.

I had to get my Bagon from 26-30 in the area around this town and it was a pain in the ass. It's Adamant but has no decent moves and doesn't attack first so it's so frail.

Just dumped Goomy in daycare because he's too weak to use against wild Pokemon.

Blazekin is leveling like crazy because it counts as a traded Pokemon due to the fact it came from an event.

I don't know what I would have used instead of Blazekin had I decided not to use it.

I'm at the seventh gym, basically. Right now my team is all over the place since I changed a lot of it recently. Don't have my 3DS with me so I can't say the levels exactly, but:

Not sure if it's very balanced, noticed that I'm having a hard time against opponent's Scrafties, lol. Or rather, actually taking damage from them, a concept that didn't happen very often so far in the game.

Just got out of the Zubat Roost. Finished evolving a Bidoof for use as an HM slave.

Current team is Frogadier, Charmeleon, Vivillon, Pancham, Honedge, and Bidoof (as an HM slave).

Vivillon's getting swapped out for Tyrunt as soon as I can get him. Honedge and/or Pancham is going for Hawlucha.

I'm taking my sweet time trying to catch everything - hunting for a Taillow and a Seviper on Route 8 right now.

I thought this game had a really weak plot compared to black/white (not that pokemon games have great plots, not arguing that). The one great part was that flashback cutscene, other than that I wasn't too impressed. Lysandre was not bad as a villain though compared to some of the others.

Giovanni will always be best villain, inb4 genwunner.

Just casually collected the Iceberg Badge, currently en route to Victory Road. I rerolled on the 14th, but had my team traded over. They've been leveling so fast I've had to turn off exp share sometimes to keep them from going disobedient on me.

Just beat the 3rd Gym, and I'm fully aware of the overlevelling. I keep trying to switch members around, once I get a Noivern that will replace Aerodactyl. Not sure if I'm keeping Skrelp, or Meowstic even though I love both. Meowstic is a little redundant with Delphox.

Also the reason I'm overlevelled is purely because of catching experience. I don't grind in the wild, merely go around and catch stuff! Not sure if I'm happy about that or not. I plan to keep EXP. All on for Skrelp/other team members that come on lower and such though.

Just got to the town after the route with all the Goomys. That thing not being Dragon/Water or Dragon/Fairy is the disappointment of the century.

Current team is Greninja, Slurpuff, Tyrantrum, Vivillon, Gogoat, and Pyroar. I really wanted to replace the last two, but Gogoat is an incredible bro and despite Unnerve being a wasted ability my Pyroar keeps proving his worth every time I go to box him.

Just beat the 6th gym and realized that the only way I could challenge myself is if I turned off EXP share, so I did.

I got Gallade as a Ralts from a WT, and Gengar from the GTS as a Haunter. I also had Petal the Venusaur for a while and Brute the Granbull for a little bit but I didn't like them so much.

Might get a Pyroar or a Mamoswine for my final member.

ive pretty much just been rushing through the game. when i picked uo the game at a midnight launch with a friend i restarted my game 4 times so we'd both have all the starters. so my team is just selphox, greninja, pancham, and doublade all in the upper 50s. had a chesnaught but hes ugly so i dropped him. just finished the 7th gym.

like i said, just rushing through to post-game so i can do meta stuff

I do the same thing. It's worse because this gen introduced the pokeballs being passed through breeding so even if I'm just going to breed it it has to be in a regular pokeball. I don't know where I developed this autism from but the pokeballs must be uniform.
