which window?
I have three windows, the friends window, the pokemon-amie window, and the super training window, along the bottom of each I have my pokemon, pokedex, bag, trainer card, save, and options, hitting X brings up the same thing.

what painfully obvious thing am I missing?

I did the following and passed the check:

Museum with audio guide
Make Trainer PR video (used a preset one)
Tried lottery
Got haircut for myself but did not stylize Furfrou
Bought juice and galette
Bought something at the four stores listed
Helped out at hotel
Spoke with Alexa

If it doesn't work, try the city transportation services and Furfrou grooming and it should work 100%
