The reason for this is because you can tank shit while raising attack with swords dance so a primary defensive nature would be a better idea.
Depending on what you want I'd go one of these:
-252 def 252 atk
-252 sp def 252 atk
-252 def 252 sp atk
-252 sp def 252 sp atk
He can also be a mixed sweeper if you'd like but always prioritize one defense score, at least IMO. Defense is probably the best stat for him since kings shield lowers atk when its hit, so 252 def and 252 atk is probably the best spread. Or maybe 252 def with a mixed spread between atk and sp def.
Go for any defensive nature that doesn't lower sp def or atk (or sp atk if you're going for mixed or special attacker). If you can help it try for it to not lower speed.
I'd say that the best setup for it is physical sweeper with an impish nature with either a atk/def spread or max def/atk/sp def spread.
