As someone who has NEVER gotten a legit shiny before, i'm 100% sure they upped the rate this gen. Sixth egg in was this guy.

Goodra has very high attack as well, and gets access to decent stuff like Power Whip.
Go for a bulky physical build, maybe go for a good Dragon's Tail/Toxic/2 moves build

This is actually the 8th shiny I've caught in the wild now, across all the games I've played.
That would be Minun, Zigzagoon, Kadabra, Geodude, Ursaring, Clefairy, Audino and now Oddish.

Too bad about Oddish's nature though.

I'm 9 boxes into breeding my honedge nip and native (masuda method) with a flame body talon flame.

I've literally caught up with EVERY video in my youtube subscription feed and even rewatched entire series' of mildy amusing lets plays.

Its 6 am and I started doing this at about 3 am yesterday.

I think tipping gives you a random rate each tip you do it, so one tip would give you 1/4000 while another gives you 1/1279, while the next could give 1/3000. It has nothing to do with consecutive tips.

Again I have no proof at this point, just a theory from everyone on /vp/ that has posted shinies.

You only need a ditto that's foreign for musada method right? it doesn't have to be specifically from Japan, just a different country right? Mines Spanish and I'm hesitant to start until I get confirmation on this.

Masuda just signifcantly lowers the rate. It went from like 1/8000 to 1/1000, but that's still a high rate. It could take 10 eggs or it could take 1000 eggs, just gotta get lucky. Three boxes is pretty much nothing when it comes to MMing though, you have to be patient.

Just send all the Eevees over WT or something.
