>>14700703I don't think you quite understood Nietzsche's phylosophy.
Remember, we just do what other species do. We just have FAR more power than anything ever since photosyntheticers evolved and poisoned the atmosphere with oxygen (we are descendants of the few organisms able to use oxygen in their metabolisms), BUT, we are aware of it, we have some sort of control.
Rabbits may breed exponentially until the ecosystem cannot support that, and then they die exponentially and may end up in a stable number, but the initial phase of growth cannot be supported. We, unlike rabbits, can read and interpretate data, and are quite good at making predictions, so, if we see the world population being quite constant for most of recorded history, starting to grow at a higher rate 3 centuries ago, and reach a point where in 100 years it has increased by a factor of 7, and in a single generation the population duplicates, well, common sense can tell you that that is not a stable condition.
Current though is centered on growth, growth or death. But that is not quite right, something not as focused on growing, but on keeping itself going on, lasts longer. But that'd require a focus on the collective rather than on the self, and, well, that's hard, easy to exploit, and not very rewarding. So we need to focus on that and stop being talking rabbits who want the largest carrot.
