It's also pretty bad during hordes or when it does that split of the two Pokemon without the 3D.

But yes, the game gets inexcusably choppy sometimes. GameFreak's developers don't know what the fuck they're doing. Mario Kart 7 and TLOZ: A Link Between Worlds are running at 60 fps while in 3D and they're both pretty good looking games, so I don't buy for a second that 30 wasn't possible for this mostly OK looking game. It's rushed and that's all there is to it.

Yes. I also did a triple battle yesterday and the frame rate was awful. I hope Gamefreak improves this when the next game comes out.
