Yes. Most weather pokemon are set up to reset their weather if it ever gets taken out, and keeping them alive is already a top priority.

Using them will take more skill now though, as you'll have to manage a countdown against opponents who don't have a way of removing your weather.

What can Mega Blaziken do about Jellicent?
Immune to fighting STAB, resists fire STAB, not weak to anything else Blaziken commonly runs off the top of my head, counters Speed Boost via Trick Room, STAB SEs it, and could even set up on the switch assuming Blaziken does switch out. Seems about as good a counter as you could hope for short of Shadow Tag.

Try using it with Trick Room, I recall it's in a really slow speed tier but has a fantastic movepool to go with it's 130 s.atk. So probably Quiet 252 HP/S.Atk is fine.

A 4x weakness to pebbles is certainly a detriment, but it's NOT a singular reason for a Pokemon to underperform. Charizard was never anything spectacular to begin with, pebbles was simply another nail in the coffin, not the coffin itself.

Just slap them in HP it'll give more mileage for you unless you want to outspeed something slow in particular and need the speed. Defense is pointless thing could survive being shot by a tank even while asleep. It's the s.def it needs to be scared about.

Who are you to say it only can have one playstyle? I've yet to see anything that honestly says it can't employ an effective CB set witht that high as fuck attack stat.

The Smogon stats for Slurpuff and Aromatisse are so hilariously wrong that Gen 1 professor Oak wants me to throw a Master Ball at them. Even a cursory glance at the former's stats tells you that there is no way it has fucking 30 base speed.
Once we've figured out the stats for everything, we can judge the Fairy type, but there's still some unknowns out there. Plus some older 'mons got buffed BSTs (see: Wigglytuff's +10 Sp. Atk), and while most (see: Wigglytuff) will remain shit, there could be some surprises.

lel, I've only ever implied it was a viable setup with certain perks. Aegis is sorta, you know, a different type than Scizor, afterall.

I actually hate the 4th gen starters as far as designs go aside from Empoleon but they have alot going for them as far as Stats and moves go.

I'll give 6th gen starters this they'll still more viable than fucking awful 5th gen starters

Different guy, but Torterra was my favorite starter of Gen IV, not counting comp usage.

Woodhammer/Earthquake/Synthesis/X was great just for getting through the game.

I'd say Empoleon is the weakest of Gen IV, but I still like him.

Not if Togekiss is going to a pain in everyone's sides again. The threat of a STAB Sludge Bomb will actually make it think twice before coming in on Gengar. At the very least it's got a niche as a check for him.

found leftovers somewhere, but i farmed the life orb at the battle maison in about an hour from doing the regular singles run
first 10 matches give 1 bp, next 10 give 2bp, boss gives 20 which is around 48 to buy the orb

farming up an assault vest, that item has some cool potential
