Anybody else having problems with this? I could only use it once, and that was during the initial startup of my Global Link profile. After that it kept giving me server errors.

As of now, Gen VI's Game Sync basically just updates your profile on Global Link. A lot of people (if not everyone) has been having connectivity issues with it. Your 3DS will claim the servers are busy, when in reality they seem to be totally inactive.

I take it you haven't set it up yet.

The new Global Link features a timeline of some of your activities in X/Y, like when you obtained certain achievements, acquired badges or beat the Elite Four. It's also supposed to update your profile with the most recent photo you took in the game, although this didn't work for me at all when I set the profile up. It's got other stuff too.

Basically, you have to use Game Sync if you want to update that profile with the latest happenings in your quest in Kalos.
