Okay. Someone spell this fucking crap out for me.

I have Y. Someone wonder-traded me a Swirlix. What is the proper method to evolve this little punk? It's level 34.

Also, does it still learn moves after it evolves?

Trade it while it is holding the item "Whipped Dream".

I think you should be able to. I have X and I found my Whipped Dream near the little Skiddo Farm.

Also, level up moves went kind of like this (I used Swirlix/Slurpuff)

Fairy Wind
Fake Tears
Energy Ball
Cotton Guard
Draining Kiss
Light Screen

Those are what I remember.. it can learn lots of TMs though. Mine knows
Dazzling Gleam
Flamethrower
Calm Mind
Energy Ball
