It's been over a decade since I played Pokemon (and since I faced the Elite Four), and I'm wondering if they've changed the mechanic since last I played.
Is it still "face each trainer in a fight of attrition 'till you beat the champion" with no outside help (Pokecenters or other ways to heal your Pokemon) until the end? Or do they heal your Pokemon after each match now?
If it's the latter my party could probably beat the Elite Four right now, but if it's the former I don't stand a chance, there are a couple battles I'd be crawling out of and I can't seem to find Ethers anywhere so I'd have some moves completely gone.
