If you predict a switchin from a spinblocker, you can always dark pulse and get it over with. And if they don't switch, dark pulse is still going to 2HKO everything in the game except certain special walls.

Mega Blastoise is an extremely effective rapid spinner because it fucks up common walls and spinblockers. It also has very very good bulk

Clawitzer cannot rapid spin, so it is essentially just a shitty special attacker. Are you telling me you'll use Clawitzer, and then have a separate shitty Rapid Spinner? This wastes more spots than Mega Blastoise.

Mega Blastoise is by no means a waste of a mega slot, it is a very very powerful pokemon. With wish support, it is even better
