Just beat Y.

Damn I am disappointed in the low difficulty, am i the only one? shitshitshit like i didn't even bat an eye once at the difficulty and i even OHKO'd my way through the elite four...

I didn't know until it was too late... stayed away from the internet to avoid spoilers, fell in love with amie (made it a little easier) and i heard from a poorly informed friend that it didn't really share that much exp... then i noticed at the 6th gym "wait... why am i 10 levels ahead still..."

Was really easy for me as well. As much as I disliked gen V for it's linear gameplay, I can now say that at least it had way stronger opponents.

The teams in X/Y are what I would call half baked. I get the impression that the game was rushed in regards to the endgame. They could have done much better.

4 Pokemon on a team? I don't think we've ever seen that few with the Elite 4. What's worse is that they aren't even the kinds of Pokemon teams that make you shit bricks.

Cynthia's team in D/P/Pt should have become a staple.

go to the battle areas or battle with people online, that's what they are there for, for difficulty.

B/W B2/W2 had 4 pokemon elite four members for their first battle albeit having significantly lower levels though.

It probably would of been fine if their teams got 6 pokemon after the first elite 4 clear. or if they had a challenge mode
