Being immune to grass is quite nice, but so is losing status effects in the rain.

Do you plan on having rain dance somewhere on your team?
If so, hydration, if not sap sipper.

Hydration is probably a better choice. Goodra is a Dragon so no one will use a Grass-type move against it competitively and there's a crap ton of Water-types. Rain Teams are still pretty prevalent and you could easily switch Goodra into a Water-Type move.

TL;DR Hydration, niggah.

They both suck, lol. Sap Sipper is useless because of his low attack. Hydration is shit now that perma weather is gone. I guess just go with Hydration since people can still sort of make rain teams work, so long as they keep switching back to Politoed every 5 turns.

If possible, get his hidden ability Gooey and breed for that instead. Much much better.

Oh fuck I thought Hydration was Water Absorb, my bad. If you got a Rain Team then Hydration or if you doing competitively cause Rain Teams are more common than Grass-type attacks which Goodra already resists.
