I'm so disappointed with the Fairy retcons. Anyone else feels the same? I mean they barely explored the concept and the many possible type pairings.

The only retcons I wanted was for Whimsicott to be Grass/Fairy and Mismagius to be Ghost/Fairy. I got one but not the other.
Still don't understand why most Fairy guesses didn't include Whimsicott.

Mismagius gains inspiration from a Banshee. which is a fairy, however Misdreavus is closer to that source while Mismagius does move away into the witch inspiration.
But if they give Fairy to Azumarill and Mr. Mime then why not?
Mismagius secondary typing, if not Fairy, should be Psychic.

She's inspired on a Banshee, which is part of Scottish mythology, which we thought would be part of constitutes as Fairies in the Pokémon world.

except Misdreavus fits the fucking description of the Nukekubi to the LETTER. Whereas the only thing it has in common with the banshee is the screaming; and it does it for entirely DIFFERENT REASONS. The banshee wails out of sorrow, the Nukekubi and Misdreavus do it because they're dicks.
