you hit up + a then release and immediately hold up + a again. I caught yvetal with my first duskball this way. In fact I caught almost all the legendaries in black 2 this way within the first few balls I threw.

Sylveon has a high sp. def which makes it a good sp wall, which is a shame since rash nature reduces that. But you could try building a SP attack one for killing some dragons.

Just evolved this guy. Do all shinies have IVs this good or did I hit the jackpot? He has 31 Def and I think ~27-30 in the rest of his stats. The high speed is a bit of a downer but holy crap this guy is amazing.

Theres an item for 200BP in the Battle Maison that says it lets you change a Pokemons ability if they have more than one possible ability.

Pricy, thats 200 battles, but still, worth it.

DISCLAIMER: Not actually bought it yet, so cant confirm it does what it says on the tin, but I have to imagine it does.
