That's what I was thinking, but it is a pretty comprehensive walkthrough with every pokemon location along with likelihood of finding them, every egg group, every hidden item, etc.

The book is pretty thick, but small. Hard copy and looks real nice, but it's basically just a massive walkthrough.

I read through to about Cyllage City's part looking for Pokemon rarities and hidden items. There isn't TOO much interesting, although Orange and White Flabebe is "almost never found" in most areas it exists.

The last O-Power is a Hatching one. You get it from Mr. Bonding after having max style in Lumiose.

But does the guide say anywhere WHERE Mr. Bonding is to give it to you?

I'm either one tier away from unlocking it or I just can't find him.

Oh, one thing interesting the book does mention: The boutique in Lumiose is dependent on you doing just about everything in the city - visit every cafe, eat at every restaurant, visit every shop, etc - although it's not all required. The more you do, the more "stylish" you are, and the boutique isn't the only place affected. In the Stone Emporium, you can buy mega stones but initially they're very expensive. The more stylish you are the cheaper they are, from a top price of 1mil to a low price of 10k. Other places around town treat you better the more stylish you are too - cheaper cabs and store prices, etc.

Unless there is more about it later in the book, all it says about the Creepy Girl on the 2nd floor is: "North Boulevard features three unmarked buildings along its path. There isn't much to do in the west building due to a photo shoot that's taking place. If you visit the middle office building and ride the elevator up to the second floor, you'll meet an unusual character."

I hope so. I really liked the number 69 but for the past few days not so much.

it would also seem too weird for gamefreak to release their biggest pokemon game to date and have the fewest amount of new pokemon within it (not to mention following B/W which had the most new pokemon released)

them not putting a pokedex in their official guide makes it seem all the more likely

The real guides come in November and December (at least in Japan) These are just game clear guides that cover the main story. We'll all get a "Christmas Present" of a new region that takes up the other half of the cartridge when the Pokebank opens.

To get a metal coat, get a compound eyes pokemon in slot 1 of your party and faint it. In slot 2 get a frisk Trevanant with thief.

Go to lost hotel and fight magnemites. you'll find a lot of them with metal coats.
