It happened. A human character died in a Pokemon game.After losing his wife and with your Pokemon. I was actually surprised by Gamefreak.

After you beat the Elite Four and you go back to his house, there is a Pokeball is on the floor and no people.

Attached is a letter, saying the Pikachu cheered him up and he wishes he could've lasted longer, but my kindness helped him enjoy himself right to the end. Attached was a Comet Shard.

I just gave him one of the Larvestas I hatched, hopefully it can keep him warm for a while.
