What is the fastest way to level up pokemon in x y?

I bred a few timid ghastly's and now I want to boost one for my team.

using Sweet Scent on Route 20 gets you hordes of trevenant tthat give like 3.5k for the whole horde.

it works dropped a lvl 5 fenekin in they daycare and after three laps around the tower it was level 11 also guys you do not need to steer around the tower it does it for you so just set something heavy on the left or right direction arrow and after some time it will be leveled up
