You're telling me what YOUR opinion of fun is, and questioning my opinion of fun. You don't even realize it's a subjective term. I have fun battling friends online with my Pokemon that I don't have to bother IV breeding for. They do the same. You may ask why I just don't play the simulator. It's because I like the sprite animations and playing the game in the gym or at work in my down time. It's not often, but it's fun for me.
You telling me that I should just give up on the game is just retarded. I take damn good care of my kid, and I work hard to provide a good life for my family. If I want to unwind at the gym by playing Pokemon the way I WANT TO, then that's my decision. I bought it, so I can play it how I want. I didn't sign some agreement about how RNGing was bad when I purchased the copy of the game.
