Oh wow, I was just going to make a thread about this.
Let me start by saying that overall, I'm very pleased with X and Y. Moreso than any other game since HG/SS. That being said, I think there are a few points of missed potential that do not majorly hinder my experience, but disappoint me enough for me to want to hear other opinions on the matter.
First, why isn't the Goomy line Dragon/Poison? It would be the perfect counterbalance to the new Fairy power over dragons.
Second, I'm disappointed in a lack of counterpoint Eevee evolution to Sylveon. I liked the release of two Eevee evolutions at a time and I feel it's unfortunate they got rid of that in Gen VI.
Third, while the expansive Pokedex allows for fantastic variability, the lack of new Gen VI Pokemon is a letdown. I thought there would be more. I have found a decent number of new bros in this gen, so I'm content.
Thoughts? I'm almost sure I'll be alone in my opinions.
