Well...what he says is true, Fletchinder is an awesome breeder, but in spite of his low offenses Talonflame is quite impressive. He's even been turning heads at Smogon thanks to his Hidden Ability, Gale Wings. It gives priority to all Flying-type moves. For T-flame, this means priority Acrobatics or Brave Bird, which hit surprisingly hard. He can also learn Swords Dance, Flare Blitz, (priority) Roost, and U-turn. He's not going to be a top of the line OU threat, but he's surprisingly useful, especially for smacking around Megas like Blaziken and Lucario. Use a Rapid Spinner to keep Rocks off the field, maybe set up some hazards of your own, and play smart. And max his Attack.
