Who ever came up with the rumor that Mega Evolves can't happen unless both trainers can, I want to kill them right now.

I ran a team with no Mega Evolve. Fought 10 times. Lost each time to Mega. Sometimes it was a clean sweep, other times I KO'd 2 of their 3 Pokemon.
