So it seems they retconned this guy's hidden trait.

Not Shadow Tag anymore. Officially hacked ability. Now its hidden trait is Infiltrator (worse then normal ability)

He's still a completely viable mon without shadow tag. I'm actually glad he doesn't get it, as he's kinda uber with it. At least with mega Gengar you have some warning beforehand, and the rest of the shadow taggers aren't nearly as powerful as Chandelure.

I'm actually okay with this. Chandelure doesn't actually need Shadow Tag. It's crazy fast with high special attack and a varied movepool, and having an ability that hits through substitutes is pretty useful.
