Main disappointment to ME personally is some of the aspects of character customization.
First off, what's the deal with their only being "middle of the road brown" for the MC? This game literally has far more "black" people than what I remember seeing in BW yet there's no option to go darker than middle of the road brown? Yet we get two pale skin settings? Com on GF ...
Well, atleast I can make my brown anime girl LOOK chocolate with hair options, riiight? Noooope, not many hair styles to pick from and even the 2 unlocked ones stay with the "straw hair" style.
And other things along those lines (like the fact that all of the hair is fully modeled out buuuuut you have to wear a hat. Or the fact that you can put on other options for the face like freckles and make up buuuut you gotta take it off after the PR vid. Or the fact that you can have glasses .... buuut they have to stay on your head. Or styling your hair ... you can do that buuuut they don't show you preview pics beforehand. Pissed me off the first time I did it and had what was half of my bank taken from me only to find I didn't like the color or style).
Lots of strange limitations and decisions. Like the Poke-petting feature ... LOVE IT! But a good bit of the fun leaves when a Pokemon evolves to it's final stage for some Pokemon. I get the logic behind it (they're grown up now and may act far more reserved or stoic) but they could have done more with them.
But I haven't taken too many Pokemon to amie. Mainly referring to the difference between Delphox/ Gardevior/ Blaziken and their earlier evols as they are strikingly less active than their mid stages.
Game has a ton of strange choices but I enjoy it and see far more solid potential to where the series is going now than ever.
