I'm slightly disappointed by the music in XY compared to BW2. It sucks that they removed the tune when your Pokemon's HP is down to red or that each gym leader doesn't have their own song.

It also sucks that the gym leaders and Elite 4 don't have battle models - just official art - and that they don't talk while you're battling. I hope the sequel or third game fixes this.
