Without an action replay I have figured out how to capture other Trainer's pokemon in X and Y. About to throw up a video on youtube for you guys, so chill out and get ready.
Also, on a side note, I also figured out how to dupe/clone pokemon from the GTS. I've tested it out with others and my own 4 3DS's. So it's a tried and true (different) method than cloning before. Also it works only 1/2 the time.
