So we're pretty much at the end of Advanced Generation. It's nice to see how far May's come from basically failing at everything. She found her calling - Pokemon contests - and she's gotten really good at them.
And then THIS woman shows up. Claims she beat Drew in his very first contest, and made him cry. They're apparently friends, now. She also claims they see each other in contests often, even though she's never existed before this point, considering she was never mentioned or seen. She proceeds to ship May and Drew together.
Brock RECOGNIZES HER and says they're old friends, despite, again, not ever being alluded to before now. Oh, and she's ALSO friends with the glorious king of assholes, Harley.
Let me repeat that: she is friends with HARLEY.
She competes in the Kanto Grand Festival, where she cheeses her way through by using a Lapras spamming Sheer Cold. She faces May in the semi-final round, and completely crushes her. She then goes on to win the final round, which we don't even get to see.
May cries after losing.
Solidad is a terrible fanfiction character, except canon.
