You can get Dig in one of the Pokemon Centers. I think it's the one with the Fightinng gym/Mega evolution tower. Failing that there are plenty of ground types around.

I can't be the only one who always has trouble versus Electric-type gym leaders. In every generation they always seem to be the hardest gym fights.

I haven't had the time to go get it from GS, and it ends until December so no rush.

Especially if you got Trapinch earlier in the game via Wonder Trade.
