I'm sorry ;_;>>14782622Good spatial skills? I don't know, my average time is around 55 seconds and my three highest are 40, 40 and 42. My main tips would be to keep in mind what the border pieces are - they may vary game-by-game, but the top right corner is always green and the lower left corner is always orange for me, so those pieces are a snap. Look at the edge pieces and swap around any that have other edge pieces, fill in the main image, try to only do direct swaps, and try to remember what the background images look like for the various settings. It really is just practice and familiarity - I don't have the hand-eye co-ordination for Head It or the berry game, so I used this for maxing out six Pokemon, and... yeah, you get used to it.
As for distinctiveness, my current team is Delphox, Lucario, Sylveon, Malamar, Lapras, and Roserade. I've also used a Fletchinder a hell of a lot, and there were some other commons like Bunnelby in the earliest routes.
